Former boxing champion wants to compete in UFC

Former world welterweight champion Keith Thurman dissatisfied with the way negotiations regarding his return to the ring are proceeding. The 34-year-old American spoke about his immediate career plans, unexpectedly announcing his regret about having one fight in the UFC.

“I just have to wait for that announcement. For a whole year they played with my emotions. For now, it's about staying busy over the next few years and becoming more active. I would like to have one fight this year since I have been on the bench all year.

Next year I want to have two fights and one exhibition. Two fights and one in the UFC. I don’t know what will happen, but I need to stay busy,” BoxingScene quotes Thurman.

Let's remember that Thurman last appeared in the ring in February, when he defeated Mario Barrios by unanimous decision.
