Haney-Prograis December 9 in San Francisco

On December 9, at the Matchroom Boxing evening in San Francisco, the fight between Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) and WBC world super lightweight champion Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs). ESPN's Mike Coppinger reported.

Prograis was the first to sign a contract for the fight. A few days later, Haney signed the contract, and this will be his first appearance in the new division.

For Haney, who last year became the absolute champion in the up to 61 kg category, this will be his debut in the super lightweight division. The American will return to cooperation with the promotional organization Matchroom Boxing, but only for one fight and will not be tied to a long-term contract with Hearn.
