Legendary American boxer Roy Jones Jr explained why he was pleased with the defeat of the British Daniel Dubois in a duel with the unified division champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Let us remind you that on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, Usyk knocked out Dubois in the ninth round.

ā€œI understand Daniel believes that in the fifth round he landed a clean punch. Still, it is worth recognizing that the blow was on the verge and in this case the decision is made by the referee. Therefore, he played it safe and recognized this strike as illegal. That's how boxing is.

Usik remains undefeated. We don't want to see Dubois and Fury fight. WeĀ all understand that Fury would have killedĀ this guy. We don't want to see this. In the end, after you were cut down with a jab, weā€™re glad that everything ended in Usikā€™s favor,ā€ the American said in his podcast.
