Former world champion in four weight categories, American Roy Jones Jr. criticized the British Daniel Dubois for performance in a duel with the unified champion in the heavyweight division Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
On August 26, at a boxing evening in Wroclaw, Poland, Usyk knocked out Dubois in the ninth round.
“Most of all I was upset that Dubois just gave up. It was a fight for the world title, and he missed the jab, and that's it. It is difficult to comment on this. Usyk does not have a reputation for being a powerful and explosive striker. And you fall after a jab from a guy who doesn't count as a puncher?" — said Jones in the release of the author's YouTube channel.
