Haney Prograis in early December in the USA

In the first half of December Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) will fight against the WBC world champion in super lightweight Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) in the USA. This was stated by Eddie Hearn.

The British promoter also said that Prograis has already signed a contract for the fight, and Haney has agreed on financial terms and will soon also sign his part of the contract. The exact venue for this fight has not yet been determined.

For Haney, who became the undisputed champion in the weight category up to 61 kg last year, this will be his debut in super lightweight. The American will return to cooperation with Matchroom Boxing, but only for one fight and will not be bound by a long-term contract.
