Eddie Hearn: 'Team Dubois can't appeal or seek rematch'

The well-known British promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about the desire of Daniel Dubois and his team to protest the outcome of the fight with Oleksandr Usyk and declare it void.

“I don't know how this decision can be reconsidered. I think the Dubois team will not be able to appeal or demand a rematch, although I probably would have done the same. I don’t blame them for this,” the functionary said.

Recall that Usyk defeated Dubois by TKO in the ninth round. And in the fifth round there was an episode when the Briton punched the Ukrainian below the belt. Dubois considered that he had struck a legitimate blow, and Usyk should have counted the knockdown, and not be given time to recover.
