Frank Warren said in an interview with Talksport that the unification bout between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will be held at the beginning of next year. The British promoter is sure that this time the parties will reach an agreement.
“This fight will take place at the beginning of 2024. I can guarantee the fans will get the fight they've been waiting for," Warren said.
Attempts to organize a fight between Usyk and Fury were made for several months at the beginning of this year. Ultimately, the negotiations were broken off, and Usyk will hold a mandatory defense of the WBA belt with Daniel Dubois on Saturday at a boxing evening in Wroclaw.
