Former world champion, now expert Carl Froch shared his expectations from the upcoming fight of the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk vs. WBA "regular" title holder Daniel Dubois.
Froch predicts Usyk will outbox Dubois and possibly even beat him early in the later rounds.
“Usyk is the heavyweight champion of the world and he is fighting Daniel Dubois. Perhaps he will win this fight on points after 12 rounds. Maybe even win by a late stop.
I don't see any real relevance in this fight. I think Usyk is a great guy. If he wins, then well done, I will give him his due. But if Daniel Dubois can do what people say is impossible, then I will support him and give him a lot of praise,” Froch said in an interview with Boxing News 24/7.
Recall that the Usyk-Dubois fight will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
