Haney Prograis negotiations continue

Boxing columnist Dan Rafael said that negotiations on organizing a fight between the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) and WBC super lightweight world champion Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) have not been successful so far.

The fight was scheduled for October 28 in Las Vegas, but no contracts were signed. The preferred venue, MGM Grand, has already been booked for another event and the financial terms of the fight have not yet been agreed.

In this situation, the date of the fight will most likely be rescheduled. Haney is currently a free agent and Prograis is under contract with Matchroom Boxing.
