BJ Penn praised Vera: "He has champion qualities"

Top Ecuadorian UFC bantamweight Marlon Faith received accolades from a former two-division champion and member of the promotion's Hall of Fame BJ Penn.

“I train with Chito (nickname of Vera, - approx.), but this time he decided to do everything on his own. He is a championship contender. He has champion qualities, an excellent ability to work on himself. He really wants to take the belt,” Penn said on UFC 292: Embedded.

Recall that at the upcoming UFC 292 tournament, which will be held on August 19 in Boston, Vera will fight with Pedro Munoz.
