After the fight with Robert Helenius, many boxing fans had questions about the chances of Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) in a potential fight with Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) and colleagues and compatriots of the British ex-champion.

“A left straight was enough for Helenius, but you can’t fight like that against Wilder, you need to do more,” says former world heavyweight champion David Haye.

“I liked the ending. He did everything like in the textbook: a jab to the body and a right to the head. If he adds stepping to this movement, it will help him get the right distance more easily. He is a dangerous puncher, so he cannot be written off in fights with Wilder or Fury, ”said Audley Harrison, Sydney Olympic heavyweight champion (2000) and former world title contender.

“It will be interesting to see how AJ performs with Wilder, but he definitely needs to fight him differently than Helenius,” added popular British boxer Dave Allen.

“I know it’s dangerous at heavyweight, especially against a boxer like Wilder, but Joshua shouldn’t be so insecure and indecisive. It's a big risk, but he's going to have to take a bigger risk with Wilder," added former world heavyweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli.

Representatives of Saudi Arabia attended a boxing evening in London last Saturday. Yesterday, further talks were scheduled to begin regarding a tournament announced for January in the Middle East, where a duel between Joshua and Wilder could take place.
