Eddie Hearn, former unified heavyweight champion promoter Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs), shared his thoughts on the victory of his client over the Finn Robert Helenius (32-5, 21 KOs).

“Whether you support Josh or not, think that he is capable of doing great things or not, everything has already changed. Anthony is now a mature heavyweight. And I know that everyone wants to see knockouts in the first, second and third rounds, but against Helenius he took his time and made one of the knockouts of the year.

The fight with Wilder is what we want. We have a plan for three fights. Helenius, Wilder, and then Tyson Fury. These are our ambitions. We believe Anthony can beat Wilder. The Skills Challenge will start tonight, so we will try to finalize this agreement within a few days.

We are considering January and we are ready to sign an agreement on this date. Saudi Arabia wants to have one of the biggest heavyweight fights of all time and we are ready for it.

Joshua is ready for this fight. He gave everything to this sport. He gave everything to British boxing. Now he's ready for the big fights," Hearn was quoted as saying by Ring News 24.
