Eddie Reynoso, coach and manager of the undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs), ruled out the possibility of a fight between his ward and the owner of all major belts in the welterweight division Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs).
“I think the weight difference between Canelo and Crawford is too big. It is unlikely that this fight will ever take place. I don't think Terence will be able to put on that much weight. It's too small," Reynoso told Little Giant Boxing.
Recall that earlier Crawford offered to hold this fight at a catchweight of 158-160 pounds.
