British heavyweight David Allen believes that his compatriot Daniel Dubois there are chances to win over the unified WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“We have a 36-year-old Usyk. He is not a heavyweight. He's not a big guy at all. Usyk is an outstanding boxer, but he relies on his reflexes and mobility. At 36, there will come a moment when they will simply leave it.
I think Usyk will win. It seems to me that he will outbox Dubois. Daniel has shown his fragility and Usyk hits hard enough to take him out, but I'm not writing Dubois off completely. Perhaps Usyk shocked me, but Dubois hits ten times harder than him, Daniel is ten times more physically powerful. I don't discount it completely.
My only concern is that in the fight with Kevin Lerena, we saw that Dubois is looking for an opportunity to get out of the fight when he misses in the jaw. But, to be honest, if Dubois hits Usyk, he will send him to sleep. It intrigues me. I think it's interesting. Usyk needs to be perfect while Dubois is in the ring, because Daniel can really hit, ”Boxing News quotes Allen.
Recall that the Usyk-Dubois fight will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
