Harper Brackhus October 7th in Sheffield

On October 7, Sheffield will host a fight between the WBA world welterweight champion Terry Harper (13-1-1, 6 KOs) and former undisputed welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (37-2, 9 KOs).

This fight was previously scheduled for May. For the Norwegian, this will be an opportunity to win the championship belt in the second weight category. The vacant WBO title will also be at stake.

Braekhus returned to the ring in December after a nearly two-year hiatus. In her last professional appearance, Harper won on points against Hannah Rankin. The main event of the October evening of boxing will be the fight for the WBA featherweight belt between Lee Wood and Josh Warrington.
