Errol Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) announced that he would activate the rematch clause and play a second match with Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs). The former world welterweight champion hopes to fight this fight at the end of the year.

“Of course, I will exercise my right to revenge. It wasn't my day. Crawford was better, he beat me and I'm not going to make excuses. He just beat me like a real champion. I believe that in the second fight the course of the fight will be different, ”said the boxer from Texas.

“Hopefully, the rematch will take place in the welterweight limit. I would like to have a second fight later this year, but I am also willing to wait until next year. I definitely want to fight him again. Crawford didn't surprise me at all, he was great, but that's what I expected. I had very bad timing,” added Spence.

With this victory, Crawford probably secured the first place in all the rankings of the best boxers in the world without division into weight categories. The fight was shown in the United States as part of a pay-per-view broadcast.
