Jedrzejczyk changed her mind about returning to MMA
Former UFC women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk stated that she had given up on the idea of resuming her career.
“At the beginning of the year, I returned to the American Top Team and wanted to see if I could withstand really serious loads. I trained as hard as possible two or three times a day for 13 weeks. Everyone around was interested, but do I plan to return. I really thought about it. I wanted to give myself another chance. But then an old injury surfaced, which turned out to be twice as painful as before.
At first I was upset, but then peace appeared in my soul. I waited for this for eight months after leaving, but now there is peace in my soul. A little sad, of course. But that was exactly what I was missing, ”MMA Junkie quotes Yoanna.
Recall that Jedrzejczyk hung up her gloves after losing a knockout to Weili Jean at UFC 275 last June.
