Fedor Cherkashin (22-0, 14 KOs) completed another week of preparation before the performance on August 26 at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw. Boxer KnockOut Promotions is preparing for this fight in the Carpathians, participating in the training camp of Oleksandr Usyk.

“He is an amazing boxer in every way. Very hardworking, smart, I have seen many champions in the gym, but working with him is an amazing experience, ”said the 27-year-old athlete in an interview with Ring magazine.

“Despite all his great victories, he is still the same simple person. He has a strong character and he trains so hard that I don't know how you can recover so quickly. I do the same training blocks as him, three workouts a day, but it's impossible to even describe. His hard work just needs to be justified. We start at 5 in the morning, this is character training, the second training is physical or swimming, and in the evening sparring, ”added Cherkashin.

The undefeated middleweight boxer, who will compete in Wroclaw for the second time this year, is very impressed with the training camp of Usyk, who will defend the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts against Daniel Dubois in the August tournament.

“Usyk is not just a great talent. Of course, he has a talent for boxing, but above all it is hard work and a well-coordinated team around him. Working with him opens my eyes,” said Cherkashin.

Cherkashin last fought in April in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old boxer is in the top fifteen in the ratings of all major boxing organizations.
