Falcao lost to Gualtieri

Middleweight Vincenzo Gualtieri (21-0-1, 7 KOs) in his native Wuppertal, Germany, defeated the Brazilian Olympic silver medalist Esquive Falcao (30-1, 20 KOs) and won the vacant IBF middleweight title previously held by Gennady "GGG" Golovkin. The score of judges' notes is 117-109 and twice 116-110.

Gualtieri began to set the tone for the fight from the start and sent Falcao to the floor in the second round. He shocked Falcao again in the fifth round, but he managed to stay on his feet.
