Fedor Cherkashin (22-0, 14 KOs) will hold his next professional fight on August 26 as part of a boxing evening in Wroclaw. This was announced by his promoter Andrzej Wasilewski on Twitter. The head of the promotional organization KnockOut also added that the undefeated boxer will not train in the USA this time. Cherkashin will spend his training camp in the Karpaty, where he will also prepare for his next professional fight Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).
Usyk is going to defend the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts with Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). Although this bout has not yet been officially confirmed, it will almost certainly take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland. K2 Promotions won the bid to organize this fight with an offer of $8 million.
Cherkashin last fought in April in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old boxer is ranked in the top fifteen of all major boxing sanctioning organizations.
