Zhilei-Joyce rematch will be postponed by three weeks

Revenge between Joe Joyce (15-1, 14 KOs) and interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei (25-1-1, 20 KOs) will be held on September 23 in London. Earlier it was reported that the fight was supposed to take place on the first Saturday of September.

The date and location of the second fight between the British and the Chinese should be officially confirmed in the near future. The winner will become the mandatory contender for the fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Joyce's first meeting with Zhang took place in April. A boxer from China unexpectedly won an early victory, and for the Englishman it was the first defeat in his professional career.
