Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs) and Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) may fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 16 or 30. This was announced by Frank Smith from Matchroom Boxing.
The fight between the sons of two British boxing legends was originally scheduled to take place in October, but after Benn's two positive doping tests, the event was canceled. In recent weeks there have been rumors that the fight will take place in Abu Dhabi as Benn has not yet regained his British boxing license.
However, it looks like Benn will soon be allowed to box in front of his own fans. Soon, the boxer will have to meet with the British commission to finally clarify this issue.
This will be Eubank's return to the ring after losing to Liam Smith in January. The two boxers were scheduled to fight again in June, but Smith had to pull out of the fight due to health issues.
