There will be a meeting next week in London that could conclude talks on a fight between Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs). The fight between the former world heavyweight champions is scheduled for December in Saudi Arabia.
“Everything is going as we agreed. We know how Skill Challenge Promotion works, everything takes time, but we are confident in this matter. We will meet in London next week to finalize our deal,” said Eddie Hearn.
The confrontation between the British and the American will take place within the framework of the tournament, in which Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are also scheduled to participate. Their fight is expected to take place on the same evening in December.
Before that, Joshua will have one more fight. His rematch with Dillian Whyte is scheduled to take place on August 12 in London.
