UFC Heavyweight Champion John Jones expressed a desire to fight Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) in a boxing match. Recently, Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, made the same offer, but he was referring to an MMA fight.
“If Fury wants to know who the number one heavyweight really is, let's have a cage fight with Jones. Then everything will become clear, ”White said.
“It would be great if Dana could arrange it. At UFC, we give fans the fights they really want. Fury is a big contender and that would be amazing. I'm even ready to box with him. We'll see what happens," Jones said.
The American returned to the cage in March after a three-year break. Fury has not boxed since December and it is not known when he will return to the ring.
