Navarrete Valdez officially on August 12

Officially confirmed information that on August 12 at the boxing evening from Top Rank in Glendale there will be a fight between the WBO featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete (37-1, 31 KOs) and Oscar Valdez (31-1, 23 KOs).

This fight was supposed to take place in February, but health problems did not allow Valdez to compete that day. Navarrete knocked out Liam Wilson in his last appearance in the ring, winning the title in his third weight division.

Valdez, who held two division championship belts in the past, recently returned to the ring after losing to Shakur Stevenson last year and winning on points against Adam Lopez.
