At stake is the fight for the title of absolute welterweight champion between Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) and Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) will also have a championship belt according to The Ring magazine. Two unbeaten Americans will unify all IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC titles on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The title of "Boxing Bible" in this weight category has been vacant since 2015. Its last owner was Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Both boxers are expected to earn at least $10 million for this fight. Both fighters will also have the right to activate a rematch clause in the event of a loss within 30 days of the fight.

The event will be shown in the United States on Showtime pay-per-view. Crawford defeated David Avanesyan in his last appearance in the ring, and Spence won the unification fight against Yordenis Ugas.
