Bivol team: "Our goal is Beterbiev"

Vadim Kornilov said that the chances of an agreement on revenge between Saul Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) and Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11 KOs) decrease. The second fight of the boxers was originally scheduled for September.

“They don’t want revenge. You can't have a rematch under the same conditions if you lost the first fight. This is silly. We are moving on, our goal is Artur Beterbiev,” Bivol’s manager said.

Bivol still has a valid contract with Matchroom Boxing, but it is not known when his next fight will take place. Canelo in this situation will most likely cross gloves with David Benavidez in September.
