Trainer Deontay Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KOs) Malik Scott, in an interview with Betway, commented on information over the weekend that representatives Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) and Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) began preliminary negotiations for a duel in September. In Scott's opinion, they should not significantly affect AJ's possible December fight with the Bronze Bomber.

“Everyone knows that you can’t be sure of anything about Fury,” Scott said. — You don't know what to expect from him. One day he says he fights, and the next day he retires. He is unpredictable."

“But I can tell you for sure that with or without Fury, Deontay and AJ will make a deal to fight in Saudi Arabia,” added the coach of the former WBC heavyweight champion.
