Eddie Hearn said that he was considering the possibility of participating in a tender to organize a fight for the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight titles between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). Ultimately, the head of Matchroom Boxing decided not to make his offer.

“I thought about it, even thought about teaming up with George Warren, but in the end I decided that it didn’t make sense because Anthony Joshua’s next fight could take place on the same day,” said the British promoter.

“However, if Joshua does not fight in August, we will definitely talk with Alexander Krasyuk about DAZN acquiring the rights to this fight. We'll see how our calendar pans out," Hearn added.

The fight between Usyk and Dubois is likely to take place on August 12 at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. This will be the second fight in Poland for the world heavyweight title and the first one that will have three championship belts at stake.
