Eddie Hearn does not believe the news about a possible fight between Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Demsey McKean (22-0, 14 KOs), which supposedly will take place in the summer in Australia.

“This, of course, is complete nonsense,” the head of Matchroom Boxing told IFL, commenting on yesterday's reports from the southern hemisphere. “Fury won’t box in Australia, he flew there to watch Joseph Parker fight and just wanted to entertain the public.”

“I doubt that Fury will agree to any other fight than Usyk in December, because the money he can get for him, he will not receive anywhere else. I wouldn't expect Fury to fight anytime soon in the summer," Hearn added. “As for McKean, we are in talks to fight him with Filip Hrgovic, although of course he wants big fights, so he would choose to fight Fury.”
