“Look what I have achieved with Derek Chisora! Nobody gave him a chance,” says Don Charles, new coach Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). The Briton is the mandatory contender for Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) in the WBA line.

Due to the failure of negotiations to unify all belts with Tyson Fury, Usyk is now forced to fight Dubois, who recently parted ways with Shane McGuigan. His place in the DDD corner will be taken by Charles, previously known only for his collaboration with Chisora.

“I know what I can offer as a coach and I believe in my coaching abilities. The only thing I'm missing is a world champion at hand, and now I'm going to work with a real athlete. I believe that with Daniel I can do it. In an ideal world, we would have an easier fight at first, but maybe we will fight Usyk right away, ”said Charles.

Recall that both sides did not come to an agreement, so next Thursday a tender will be held to select the organizer of this fight. The winnings will be split 75/25 in favor of the reigning champion. The minimum amount to participate in this tender is one million dollars.
