UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling fourth defense of his title will be held against Shauna O'Malley August 19 in the main event of UFC 292 in Boston, USA. This was announced by the head of the organization Dana White.

On May 7, at the UFC 288 tournament, Sterling (23-3) defended his belt for the third time, defeating Henry Cejudo, who returned after a three-year sports pension, by a split decision. Prior to that, the 33-year-old American won on points in a rematch against Peter Yan and knocked out T.J. Dillashaw.

O'Malley (16-1) sensationally defeated Yan by split decision last October. This victory allowed the 28-year-old "Sugar" to fly up to second place in the bantamweight rankings and become the main contender for the belt.

It should be noted that the co-main event of the UFC 292 tournament will be another title confrontation: the champion of the women's minimum division Weili Jean will meet with Amanda Lemos.
