Haney Lomachenko. Pre-fight statements

“On Saturday, I will knock out Lomachenko and send him to retirement,” said Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) on the eve of the long-awaited fight for all four lightweight belts against Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs).

“I'm not getting any younger, I don't have time anymore, so this is my only shot at the four belts I dreamed of. I am very close to my goal, I only need to win one fight, ”the Ukrainian said in turn.

“Vasily has always strived to unite the titles. He wanted to do it at featherweight and super featherweight, and he's been trying to do it since he moved up to lightweight. “You can’t consider yourself a world champion with one of the four belts within your weight, so my goal has always been to unify all the titles in each weight category. Because there can only be one real champion,” Lomachenko added.

Now he has to face someone bigger, younger, faster and stronger, and for the first time in his career he is not a favorite, and I will prove it right in the ring.
