Fedor Cherkashin (22-0, 14 KOs) in an interview with Andrzej Kostyra said that in a few weeks he would again go to the United States to start preparing for the next professional fight. The undefeated middleweight can perform at the evening, the main entertainment of which will be the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, if this event takes place in Poland.

“I must admit that I would gladly take part in such a tournament if it were organized in Poland. I must also say that after the last fight, I already received offers to fight in the USA. We will analyze all this with my promoter Andrzej Wasilewski,” said Cherkashin.

A 27-year-old Ukrainian with a Polish passport is climbing higher and higher in the world rankings. The KnockOut Promotions boxer is already eligible for a championship belt in the IBF, WBA and WBC versions.

“I have not yet received an official offer to fight for the belt, but I personally admit that if it appeared, I would immediately agree. In my opinion, there is nothing to expect here, but it is clear that in this case I will discuss everything with the promoter. Andrzej Wasilewski always makes sure that everything is on time, and I trust him. But if such a proposal had been received, I would have agreed," Cherkashin added.

The 27-year-old boxer fought his last professional fight in April, defeating Elias Espadas in Las Vegas. This was Cherkashin's third professional performance before an American audience.
