“He made me wait four years for this fight. I don’t like him and I want to send him to retirement, ”said Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs), who in eleven days will defend all four lightweight belts against Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs).

“I'm going to hit him hard. For the first time, he is not the favorite because he has to face a younger champion who is bigger, stronger and faster. Lomachenko is no better than me, he can’t do anything better than me, ”added the absolute champion in the weight category up to 61.2 kilograms.

“Four years ago, he was only at the beginning of his journey. Today he is a real champion, so theoretically it should be much easier for him today than then. And he can prove that everything he says is true. Winning all four belts is my dream. I think about it when I go to bed and wake up in the morning. I'm still fast, strong and ready to go the full twelve rounds. I lost my belts, but I got a second chance to get them back," Lomachenko said in turn.

“He was supposed to meet with me four years ago, now it will only be harder for him. I have experience and I am confident in myself. I don't fight for money, I fight for fame and to make history," Haney added.
