Usyk's promoter arrived in Poland for talks on the fight with Dubois

Alexander Krasiuk is in Warsaw, where he is negotiating with Andrzej Wasilewski on organizing a fight for the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). Poland is one of the most likely locations for this event.

"This is true. Poland is one of three possible locations for the Usyk-Dubois fight. We have been working hard on this for several days now, the chances are growing, ”the early head of KnockOut Promotions said on social networks.

Dubois enters this fight as an official contender for the World Boxing Association belt. In the first week of May, there will be a deadline by which the boxing camps must work out an agreement on the organization of the fight. The next step will be the WBA tender.

According to WBA rules, the Usyk-Dubois fight must take place no later than the end of July or the beginning of August. The Ring magazine heavyweight title will also be at stake.

Alexander Krasyuk confirmed that Poland is a real contender for the championship fight between the Ukrainian and the British. The UK and Saudi Arabia are also considered.
