Tsendbaatar Erdenebat (5-0, 3 KOs), two-time Olympic quarterfinalist in Rio (2016) and Tokyo (2021), was one of the sparring partners Ryan Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs). A boxer from Mongolia, after a fight this weekend, said that with a similar blow he shocked a young fighter in training, who lost ahead of schedule with the same blow Gervonte Davis (29-0, 27 KOs).

“In sparring with a blow to the body, I shook Garcia. I can only apologize for this. He went to the hospital and I went home. After that, they kicked me out of the camp and paid only half of the agreed amount,” Erdenebat said.

“He thinks I don’t know anything, but I know that he has already missed body shots,” Davis said before Saturday’s fight, and then knocked out Garcia with a left hook. All these statements led Garcia to end up saying that there was a "rat" in his camp.

“I had a rat in the camp. It's a shame, although I'm not looking for excuses, ”Ryan said.

In turn, Erdenebat was quick to comment on Garcia's accusations: "I'm not a rat... You're a great boxer, but next time try to learn from sparring and hopefully you won't miss the same punch during the fight."
