The stars of the lightweight division have mostly played walk-through fights in recent years instead of fighting each other, but that is set to change soon as the top four clash in the span of ...

April 22 Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) will face Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) at 136 lb catchweight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and undisputed lightweight champion on May 20 Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) will defend his titles against Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) at the MGM Grand also in Las Vegas.

“Obviously they are both very famous on social media. Ryan has a lot of followers. Tank also has a large number of subscribers. So it's a big fight," Haney told BoxingScene.com. - But real boxing fans, and those who understand boxing, know that my fight with Loma is a real fight. It's No. 1 and No. 2 who are fighting each other to become the king of the division."

“I have to admit, this is the most money fight I could have at lightweight, but this is definitely the hardest. Lomachenko has incredible merits and experience, of course. There are definitely bigger money fights for me as well. Or I could sit back and wait for them. But this is a battle for legacy. Loma has a reputation and was once number one in the P4P rating."
