Yesterday, the WBA officially announced a heavyweight title fight between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs).
According to the order sent to the boxing teams by the World Boxing Association, the time for "amicable" determination of the conditions for organizing this fight expires on May 2. If the teams of Usyk and Dubois do not come to an agreement, the winner of the tender will become the organizer of the fight, and the largest amount of fees for boxers declared in it will be divided in the ratio of 75 to 25 in favor of the Ukrainian.
Daniel Dubois' promoter is Frank Warren, who was recently involved in unsuccessful talks over the Fury vs. Usyk fight. In these negotiations, the Ukrainian champion, at the request of the "Gypsy King", was offered a 30 percent share of the profits.
