Hearn ready to set up Fury-Joshua fight
Eddie Hearn, in an interview with IFL TV, said that he was ready to resume negotiations on organizing a fight between Anthony Joshua (24-3, 23 KOs) and Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). Fury should have fought Oleksandr Usyk April 29, but the negotiations ended in failure.

“We had a predetermined timeline, financially this fight is twice as big as Fury-Usyk, and we could sign him right now, provided that Joshua defeats Franklin,” said the head of Matchroom Boxing.
Joshua and Fury came close to signing up for two fights in 2021, but then the fights were blocked by Deontay Wilder's team, who won the lawsuit and forced the Gypsy King into a third fight.
Joshua also commented on the confusion surrounding the failed negotiations for the fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).
“See what a mess they have to go through now. This is madness! It's good that the fans know what they have to deal with in order to organize a fight. Usyk and I had two successful fights, ”said Joshua, who had to conduct online negotiations with Fury at the end of last year.
“I can’t say that personally I will really hope for the fight with Fury. There are other great fights that I can do. Without Fury on my track record, I won't regret my boxing career. If he agrees, I don't mind. If not, then no, ”Joshua commented on his possible fight with Fury in the future.
If you believe the words of Alexander Krasyuk, for the fights with Joshua Usyk earned three times more than he could earn from the fights with Fury.
In the face of the failure of these negotiations, Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) and Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) have already expressed their desire to cross gloves with the Ukrainian, and Andy Ruiz Jr. wished to meet with Fury.
“If Usyk is free, Deontay will take this fight as soon as possible!” Bronze Bomber advisor Shelley Finkel told Sky Sports.
Bakole, who in his next performance on April 22 will meet with another Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutsky (10-0, 8 KOs) on the undercard of the Babich-Ruzhansky fight in Rzeszow, Poland, in his message to Usik, published by Sky Sports, said: “There are more fights with the King of the Gypsies no, I'm #1 in the WBA and I'm available anytime! If you're ready, call Skye. You know what happened in Dubai, but let's forget about it - it was sparring, and now I want a real fight!"
For now, Usyk will have to forget about the fight for the absolute championship, because he will be forced to defend himself in front of his challengers: Daniel Dubois (WBA), Filip Hrgovic (IBF) and Joe Joyce (WBO).
