Valdez-Lopez rematch on Haney-Lomachenko undercard

Former world champion in two weight classes Oscar Valdes (30-1, 23 KOs) will return to the ring on May 20 in Las Vegas. The 32-year-old Mexican will have a rematch with Adam Lopez (16-4, 6 KOs).

Their first duel took place in November 2019. Valdes won but was knocked down in the second round. If the Mexican wins a second time, in a few months he can fight for the WBO super featherweight belt with Emanuel Navarrete.

The main event of the May evening will be the fight for the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF lightweight belts between Devin Haney and Vasily Lomachenko.
