Harper-Brekhus on Taylor-Cameron undercard

26 year old Terry Harper will defend her WBA welterweight title against her 15-year-old senior Cecilia Braekhus on the undercard of Katie Taylor vs Shantel Cameron on May 20 in Dublin, Ireland.

Harper was originally supposed to fight Braekhus in Sheffield on April 29, but her promoter Matchroom dropped the idea due to a potential conflict with Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk.

In 2021, Harper suffered the only loss of her career to Alicia Baumgardner. Since then, she has moved up four weight classes and won the champion title in her second weight class, while Baumgardner became the undisputed champion in the second featherweight division.
