Cejudo predicts Jones vs Miocic fight

Former two-weight UFC title holder Henry Cejudo shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between the heavyweight champion of the promotion John Jones and ex-owner of the belt Stipe Miocic.

“If Miocic wants to win, then he needs to use wrestling. This is the only effective way, because Jones' hands are faster. I'm not saying that Stipe is weak in the standing position, he still managed to stop Cormier with a blow to the body. But with Johnson, everything will be different.

Jones is taller and has more reach, he calculates the distance much better than someone like Cormier. John will finish him off. The only thing I can say about this is that I don’t think Miocic will last until the end of the third round,” Cejudo said on his YouTube channel.

The fight between Jones and Miocic is expected to take place in July.
