Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs), during yesterday's press conference, commented on the information that his contract for the fight with Gervonta Davis (23-0, 19 KOs) an additional weight limit was introduced on the day of the fight.
The fight, scheduled for April 22, will take place at a contract limit of 136 pounds, which is 1 pound more than the lightweight category, however, the participants, at the request of the Tank team, will have another additional weight limit of 146 pounds on the day of the fight.
Garcia assures that weight limits will not be a problem for him: “I don’t drive weight much anyway. I usually weigh about 148 pounds in the ring, so 146 won't be a problem for me," King Rye told Boxingscene.
