"I'm better than him in every way," says Richard Riakpo (16-0, 12 KOs), who set his sights on the new WBC heavyweight champion Badu Jack (28-3-3, 17 KOs).
Jack, a former super middleweight and light heavyweight world champion, at the age of almost 40, was able to surprise an ill-prepared Ilungu Makabu and stripped him of his green belt. One can understand why a younger, much bigger and more powerful Briton is eager for such a fight.
“I challenged him, but, as expected, there was no answer from him. I am one of the most dangerous and most avoided boxers in the world in this weight class. I have all the qualities necessary to become a world champion. And nothing and no one will stop me,” Riakpo added.
