Alain Babich (11-0, 10 KOs) in an interview with Boxing King Media stated that he did not have a contract with Matchroom Boxing. Croatian, who will soon meet with Lukash Ruzhansky (14-0, 13 KOs), almost from the very beginning of his career, he has been performing at evenings organized by Eddie Hearn, but they are connected only by verbal agreements.

“My manager is Dillian White, he also does not have a contract with Matchroom. I also never wanted to sign long-term contracts, because I always wanted to be ready for a serious challenge that could come from either side, ”Babic said.

“When I started my boxing career, I didn’t know anything about it. I didn't want to close any opportunities. I am a free fighter, so this fight became possible. I am not affiliated with any TV channel or streaming platform. I was ready for this challenge," the boxer from Croatia added.

The fight between Babich and Ruzhansky for the WBC world champion title in the bridge weight category will take place on April 22 at the G2A Arena in Rzeszow, Poland.
