Former Dominant UFC Light Heavyweight Champion John Jones stated that over the three years of inactivity, he had improved in many aspects.

“I am definitely not the fighter I used to be. Now I have power in my hands that I believe in. I'm not afraid to box with anyone. Now my takedowns come with much more explosive power. I also improved my defense passes. I just feel more explosive and more powerful. It's really exciting," the American said in an interview with Unlocking The Cage.

On the night of March 5 at UFC 285 in Las Vegas, USA, Jones will share the octagon with Cyril Gan. The vacant title in the heavyweight division will be at stake.
