Bezus lost to Adele ahead of schedule

Ukrainian heavyweight Dmitry Bezus lost early in the second round David Adele in the main event of the evening at York Hall in London. As a result of the fight, the undefeated Adele tried on his first vacant WBO European title in his professional career.

Already in the first round of the fight, Bezus was on the floor after a missed jab. The Ukrainian fell heavily again in the second round after a right straight and a left hook, he was able to get up, but his condition forced referee Bob Williams to stop the fight at 1:48. This defeat was the first in the career of a boxer from Severodonetsk.
