May 27 or June 3 is expected to be a fight between the former unified world lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (18-1, 13 KOs) and former undisputed champion in super lightweight Josh Taylor (19-0, 13 KOs).

Top Rank, a promotional organization, wants to host the match at Easter Road in Edinburgh, which can hold over 20,000 fans. This will be Lopez's first professional performance outside of the United States.

In recent months, Taylor was scheduled to rematch with Jack Catterall, but the fight was postponed several times. Lopez won on points against Sandor Martin in his last professional appearance. Taylor's WBO super lightweight title will be at stake.
