Garcia and Davis could sign a deal next week

Promoters Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) and Gervonts Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) is getting closer to an agreement to organize a fight on April 15 in a catchweight up to 136 pounds.

Contracts for the duel should be signed next week. Recently, the parties could not agree on who will act as the lead promoter in the event of a rematch. In the end, it was decided that the rematch clause would only apply if Davis lost. The lead promoter for a possible second fight will be Golden Boy.

This fight will be shown on the Showtime channel in the USA as a pay-per-view. The exact location of this fight has not yet been announced.
